Originally built in 1939 by the US Coast Guard for use in World War II.  After the war, in 1946,
the Port of Bandon traded the land thats now known as the Bandon Marsh to the US Government
for the building.

 

 The Port of Bandon sidewalk in front of the building is patterned in "waves"
and the edges are bricks that can be bought and etched with your dedication.

 In addition to the Port of Bandon, the building houses
several businesses.
