Historically Old Town Bandon and the waterfront were built on pilings and boardwalks.
These wooden structures were used as roads and sidewalks prior to their destruction in the 1936 fire.

The Port of Bandon Boardwalk provides a variety of services for your waterfront needs. You’ll find the freshest seafood in town, licenses, bait, tackle, deep sea fishing charters and marine fuel for your adventure. The Boardwalk also boasts a unique collection of beautiful marine life sculpture, totem poles,  a relaxing glass enclosed picnic shelter, and a beautiful mosaic outdoor amphitheater.

Weber's Pier and the Crabbing Dock: Weber’s Pier, a beautiful, refurbished, fixed wooden pier provides access to 360 feet of the concrete crabbing dock below.  Bring your favorite camp chair, dress in layers for the coastal climate and enjoy a wonderful day of family fun crabbing for delicious Oregon Dungeness Crab or gear up for jigging smelt, perch or just relaxing and enjoying the panoramic view of the Coquille River estuary. Everything you need, licenses, crab pots, fishing poles and bait are available from Port O’ Call or Bandon Bait Shop for a minimal rental fee.

The Port of Bandon provides and requires that all children under 16 wear a life jacket or personal flotation device. At the 'Kids Don't Float' life jacket kiosk at the head of Weber’s Pier you may borrow a life jacket for your child. Please return it to the kiosk at the end of your day.
