About our weather:
The coast is beautiful all year. Bandon is known as the "Storm-Watch Capital of the World" because of our beautiful winter storms.
During the summer, Bandon is a retreat from the heat of inland areas. When you come, please remember: During the warmer months, you will probably want a sweater, sweat shirt or jacket (it can get very windy in the summer); rain is a possibility any time of the year, although it is most likely to occur during winter months; we have colder weather in the winter months, but we rarely have snow or get much below freezing.
At times, morning fog engulfs the town during the summer. This is mostly a local occurrence. There is much less fog at regions a few miles north and south of Bandon.
