Join Oregon in the battle against marine debris along our beautiful ocean beaches here in the Bandon area! With a combined effort we can remove the invading forces of litter, trash and unnatural debris. Be on the lookout for unfortunate debris that got swept up into this war by the 2011 TÅhoku, Japan earthquake and Tsunami. Some of these items will need special handling. Rally to the gazebo at the City Park in Bandon for information and clean up supplies on the 22nd of September, 2012 at 10 AM. You can also drop off prisoners of war (debris) at this location by 1 PM and the Oregon State Park Ranger will haul them off to their final place of incarceration.

Join us to beautiful Bandon City Park! In addition to increasing the aesthetics of the park, volunteers will make it safer and healthier for humans, plants and wildlife! Activities include: Invasive Plant Removal, Litter Cleanup, Native Planting, Maintenance & Monitoring.
Volunteer for the SOLVE Beach and Riverside Cleanup presented by the Oregon Lottery on Setember 22nd to pick up trash and enhance watershed health at over 100 sites across Oregon before the fall rains wash litter downstream into storm drains, waterways and out to sea. By preventing trash from reaching the ocean, you are sending a gift of clean water, healthy people, and abundant wildlife downstream.
