General Season:
- April 1 - October 31 except as noted below during the selective
Coho Fishery.
Bag Limit: Two salmon per day;
no more than 6 in 7 consecutive days.
Closed to the retention of Coho Salmon.
Size Limit: Min. lengths of 20" for Chinook and
Steelhead.
Special Regulations: Bait must be no less than 6"
in length (excluding hooks and swivels), but artificial lures
and plugs are not restricted to size; divers are prohibited;
and flashers may only be used with downriggers. No more than
2 single point barbless hooks may be used.
Note: The Tillamook Triangular Control Zone is closed
April 1-30 and June 1-Sept. 15. Special regulations, length,
and bag limits apply in state waters (0-3 miles) off Tillamook
Bay. Selective Coho Fishery:
- Opens July 10. Season follows a cycle of 2 days open and
2 days closed through earlier of July 31 or Coho quota of 15,000
landed catch. Open days through quota are July 10-11, 14-15,
18-19, 22-23, 26-27, and 30-31.
Bag Limit:
Two salmon per day.
All retained Coho must have a healed adipose
fin clip.
Size Limit: Min. lengths of 16" for Coho, and
20" for Chinook and Steelhead.
Special Regulations: No more than 2 single point barbless
hooks may be used. During the closed days of the selective fishery,
salmon angling for for any species is prohibited (July 12-13,
16-17, 20-21, 24-25, and 28-29).
Note: The Tillamook Triangular Control Zone is open during
the selective Coho fishery under the above fishery regulations.
Humbug Mountain
- Opens May 29 - July 4: and July 29 - Sept. 14.
Bag Limit: One salmon per day; no more than
4 in 7 consecutive days.
Closed to the retention of Coho salmon.
Size Limit: Min. length 20" for Chinook and Steelhead.
Special Regulations: Closed within the Klamath River Control
Zone in August.
